The Nanotechnology Center at UALR

Programs

Outreach

The Nanotechnology Center at UALR has established competitive educational programs that educate middle and high school students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students in the field of Nanotechnology. These programs focus on creating basic educational programs such as lecture series, facility visits, instrument and experiment demonstrations, as well as more advanced programs aimed at exceptional students with internship and part-time work opportunities for hands-on research. Many of these opportunities are available to Arkansas students, especially those interested in science, technology, engineering, and math degrees.  Many top high school students and undergraduate students, who are already working with Dr. Biris’ group on advanced research , are already garnering national attention and awards. Please contact us at nanotechnologycenter@ualr.edu for available opportunities.
